Part I- Basics. This class begins with basics and is a good class for any level of actor. This part focuses on simply being present in the moment, story telling, and listening. In this class the fundamental principles of character development are explored by creating character homework and character back story.
Part II- Auditions. This class focuses on audition material and monologues. This class is fun and fast paced because each week you will be working on new material for you ‘Actor backpack’.
Part III- Scene Work. This class brings together the elements of previous two and adds in working with a partner, creating objectives, & blocking. Part III also focuses on the nuances of the ‘arc’ and ‘architecture’ of the script.
Part IV- Short Plays. Part IV is really fun because it is a jam packed casting, rehearsal, & performance process for several short plays all fit into five classes. This class helps with memorization skills, on-stage confidence, and actor connection.
COST: Each 5 week class is $100.00 per student. I ask that all students pay in full on the first night of class.
CLASS SIZE: Class size is limited to 10 people. I want everyone to get a chance to work on their material, every class.
